Someone waves from a car, and I’m still thinking about it way past when it’s time to wave back.
In this week’s voice memo, I share how that extra processing shows up in business too. We consider all the angles, think about how people might respond, and keep revising.
That depth can bring a lot to our work. But it can also make it hard to finish.
I talk more about this in Episode 2 of Safe to Be Seen, my free three-part audio series for highly sensitive entrepreneurs.
Our HSP traits can be gifts, but when we overuse them, they can get in our way. Depth of processing helps us recognize patterns, make thoughtful decisions, and come up with original ideas. It can also lead to overthinking, indecision, and perfectionism.
Safe to Be Seen is part of the new HSP Visibility Bundle, and I’m one of 15 contributors.
It’s a free collection of resources for highly sensitive, introverted, and neurodivergent women who want to share their work without relying on social media, pushing themselves to hustle, or feeling they have to be louder to be seen.
Along with my audio series, you’ll find 14 other resources and some additional free gifts.
The bundle is available October 10–17.

The amount of time I have spent holding something up and asking myself how each important person (or group) in my life will respond to it and trying to edit it to make it pleasing to all - and then finding it's not even what I created in the first place by the time I've buffed off all the authenticity - or "refining it" into oblivion in hopes I won't be understood. OOF.
